How to use certain plane controls of downloads????

How do you use certain plane controls, ie: the retractable wings of an F14 Tomcat or the thrust vectoring of the Harrier.  For the harrier I have used the keys designated for th flaps but am having a hard time controling the plane to the point of a hover. to get the wings on the F-14 to move use the flaps control, also the same for the thrust vectors on the harrier. hope this helps.

It also depends on how the models' designers made them. They usually include this kind of stuff in their readme's.

Just wanted to echo Videokid. The flap controls are pretty typical controls for the wingsweeps. Also, it would help if you could provide a link to the plane you downloaded. Chances are someone on the forums has downloaded the same plane before, and knows exactly what to do. Without specifics, these kinds of quesitons are kind of tough to answer without being vague.  ;)

I have both the F-14 and the Harrier and the flaps are what controls the wings and thrust vectors.
