Prop Synchronise...?

Postby Fozzer » Wed Sep 12, 2007 4:57 am

Hello Chums... ;)...!

As a regular flier of the Default Beech Barron 58 Twin, (especially in Multiplayer), does the "Prop Sync" switch really work to synchronise the Piston Prop's engines if they are slightly out of "tune"...?

If I reduce one of the engines rev's slightly to cause them to "hunt", then switching on "Prop Sync" to bring the engines back into tune equally doesn't seem to work, as I would expect!

Does "Prop Sync" really work in the Sim?

...any ideas... ::)...?

It does for me, if for instance, the prop RPMs dont quite match and i turn it on, the come into sync, but when i turn it off, they pop back out of sync. This is not what they are really supposed to do, I fly piston twins in real life and i can tell you that the FS setup is rather inaccurate.
