Anyone having problems with Fokker F50 panel?

Postby Jayviator » Sun Jul 08, 2007 6:33 am

I downloaded the dreamwings F50 and a repaint for VLM airlines (as this operates from my airport) then i wanted a panel, i could only find one panel which is the F50 panel project, i downloaded it, and then got the most recent update, but i am having some problems,  i dont know if its the actual aircraft or the panel causing it, but whenever i try and use the map (well sometimes it lets me) but most of the time Fs9 crashes when i try and see the map, i just get a black screen then after a while it says microsaoft flight simulator has experienced an error and needs to close blah blah blah i find this quite infuriating! at the monet im practising manual and ILS approaches into Brussels as this is where my F50 flies to from my airport and i like to see if im nicely lined up on the localiser befiore i activate the approach hold, and i cant find any GPS on the panel; so the map is my only way of seeing where i am.
I have also tried contacting the person who made the panel but the emails arnt getting through.
Any suggestions?

Thanks commoner, still no luck though, i saw in the news sectuion of the fokker 50 panel site that there has been a few problems with it crashing,  one fix tells me to edit something in my fs9 cfg, i looked for it and it isnt there, and another suggestion on the site was to delete the night lights from the panel cfg, whcih i did and still no joy
I can have the gps for about 10-15 seconds then the primary flight display goes freaky and i can gaurantee that soon I'll just get my blank screen and the usual flight simulator error message
