disappearing landscape

:D   Good day everyone,  I can't help but notice when I fly out of Vancouver, B.C., heading in a N, NE, NW direction, the mountains all flatten when I approach and fly over them.  The lakes are fine, they're suspended on strips of land to whatever elevation they are suspossed to be.  I haven't added any scenery to that area and have re-installed FS9 twice.  Now this flatting effect lasts until I cross the border between British Columbia and Alberta.  This makes me think the culprit might be a leftover from an old BC Scenery add-on, but have long since deleted.  All those files were suspossed to go to Add-On Scenery.  Anyone with similar experiences?

Could it be that there are still some flattens in your scenery.cfg?

Check your scenery.cfg with SCM2004
