New graphics card installed .....but!

I have installed a nVidia 7900 followed by updated drivers.  Seems to be working alright but when I mooched through my fs9 cfg I noticed this :  
[DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce 6800 .0]
Mode=1680x1050x32
TriLinear=1

Should I replace the 6800 with 7900GS?
I thought the cfg would automatically update itself.

make a backup copy of the cfg file there, then go ahead and remove that one and then restart the sim

from there THEN the sim will rebuild the cfg file

Dead on here this is what you need to do. After installing a different video card you will need to rebuild the fs9cfg file. All you really need to do is to take out the lines
[DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce 6800 .0]
Mode=1680x1050x32
TriLinear=1
