Adapting the parameters is not difficult - you could just copy them from the iFDG aircraft.cfg [smokesystem] section to the cfg file for the plane you want them to appear on. As already indicated though, you'll need to manually adjust the horizontal and lateral coordinates to get them to appear at the wingtips. As you might have seen with the iFDGs, they often appear above the wingtip, which is not very realistic. This is because the vertical coordinate controlling the effects files (.fx) from the aircraft.cfg [smokesystem] section does not work - it's a 'feature' of FS9 as it was with FS8. You'd therefore need to adjust an offset figure in the .fx file to compensate. Also, you'd need to use a simple 'invisible' panel gauge to activate the contrails at the right environmental conditions, or else you're stuck with hitting the 'I' key to make it visible.

Sound complicated? It so happens that I've got such a gauge, and associated vortex .fx files which I could upload here, if you guys were interested.

The 3-D contrails already available tend to disappear too quickly, so I've made versions that rotate and hang around for much longer, so I could include those also.

It would be great if you could upload this! It's a bit painful when your going for 'realism' and have to tap 'I' halfway through the approach.  :)

What conditions is it set to activate at?

It's set to activate when the plane is off the ground, the airspeed is below 240kts, the temperature is less than 40C and the atmospheric pressure is less than standard. So expect to see them in Alaska in winter, but not at Princess Juliana at the height of summer! If anyone has any suggestions for better settings, let me know!

The pack will also include some other goodies, including a copilot-assist gauge that does the things that the pilot doesn't have time to do as he's wrestling plane down onto the tarmac, like raise spoilers and activate reverse thrust and autobrakes on touchdown, then cancel them at 60kts on the runway along with stowing the flaps and switching off the landing/strobe lights, the pitot heater and yaw damper.

I hope to get it uploaded as soon as the manual is done.
