Just out of curiosity, what water texture do you guys use, I have tried a few and have not noticed any improvement specially at very low altitude or looking at them straight down. They all look fake or like water paintings.

So, what do you use? How do you like it have you used others before? Any particular settings that you recommend?

I got my water detail thingy all the way to the top. (that takes my water and terrain one to medium)

Thanks
Dan

there are a few i use at the same time. I use activewater (i think) and that makes it look like there are waves. I use Xtrawater which changes the color in different areas along with some others. I have so many that i can't remember what exactly i am using. here is a shot.

see that looks way better than what I got now.  I have no reference as to what I like since I don't know what's out there, meaning don't know what to look for as for names

thanks for taking the time to reply.

At the moment I use Flight Enviroment. That's a payware package by Flight1 for water, sky and clouds.
