Do any of you guys use this add on found on page 7 of utilities?? Here

I like the idea, but looking at the creator name I'm a little worried about what this program may do to my computer and FS9. Specially since it is capable of doing this: "Courseplanner will fly the aircraft for you and even 'pause' the flight near the airport, or any point for that matter."

I'd try it out. Although I'm happy with using the default flight planner but thats just me.

Flight planner ? The pilot is the flight planner  :D

Break out those sectionals, a straight-edge, pad-n-pencil, write down the frequencies and radials, check the weather and adust for winds aloft...... and then find your way from airport to airport (sans GPS).

It's fun and educational  :)


Seriously though, most flight planners are pretty neat pieces of software. FSNavigator is a good one, too. If you already know how to plot a course by hand, they are time savers. Just don't run them in flight. It's like unfolding a sectional and having a magical, moving airplane icon appear at your exact location. Navigation by moving map isn't much of a challenge, or accomplishment.
