FS 2004 Realism...........

Postby BuzzDatAzz » Thu Jun 14, 2007 2:01 pm

Can you guys suggest any realism tweaks that i may be able to install like real airports with gates, instead of the boring old default "sitting in front of the terminal with no sign of life in or around the airport"??? There's isn't even a "real Push back with a vehicle" or connection from the gate to the plane that you can release before push back. You can open the doors of the plane, but what good is that when there is no way for passengers to climb out without falling 20ft. to the ground...LOL!!! Thanks in advance for you help!!! :'(

Buzz,

Try this on for size:

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 1178422212

It that addon doesn't get you jazzed up........ nothing will.

Freeware for the "core" of it.  If you want more at other places....payware.  Worth EVERY penny!

best,

Payware:

All Flytampa airport sceneries
Ultimate Terrain USA (Has the best friggin night enviornment)
Ultimate Night Environment
Areosoft Airport enhancements (In conjunction with flytampa airports, the gates move into position and you have the catering and cargo trucks at your disposal.

Yes they are payware but worth every penny. If you are a water boy and like realism to your oceans lakes whatever I suggest downloading and installing these freeware water textures: http://jazz.alaskanwinds.org/

Its the best figgin water textures I've ever seen.

AI traffic: Go here >>> http://www.world-of-ai.com/ I have and I like it.

If your concerned with having the AI traffic act like real life traffic, i.e. schedules and stuff, Mytraffic, Ultimate Traffic or FS Nav Traffic are good. All payware but good.
