Back To Roots

Postby paulheff » Tue Jun 12, 2007 5:29 pm

Hi,
I just bought another game of Flight Simulator 2004 and am having install problems. The problem starts when instlling the 2nd Disk it keeps asking me for the 2nd disk even though it is in the drive bay.  I have a Dell XPS 400 with all the barebones except another drive and an ATI Radeon video card. I was thinking on changing out the drives and making the new one the master and the old one the slave what do you guys think????? the other game just bummed out. :-[ i am bummed out to cause i am stuck with Sim X all my good stuff is with 2004

Hi,
Well I think I found the solution have not tried yet but after researching with microsoft.com they have a fix called safe disc or something to that effect. Anyhow thought I would post my own reply maybe someone else could use it in the future.

Are you absolutely sure you have a legitimate version?
