Fuzzy Scenery

Postby barrymb » Mon Jun 11, 2007 7:39 am

Hi
Just purchased a new duo core 2 gig ram etc with Nvidia GeForce 7600. Loaded FSX and graphics are real nice. Loaded 2004 and the graphics are fuzzy( looks as if there are tiny dots in scenery). and they are flashing on and off.
    Any ideas.   Thanks in advance.

This is caused deu to mipmapping, its a slider under the advanced settings in the graphics tab, put it somewhere around 4/5 to get the best non-headaching results :).

Hi
Thanks for the tip. It worked wonders!!  By the way, what are the cons of sliding it down to 1 or 2. What is its function.

Any tips for running FSX for best performance. Just got a core 2 duo, Nvidia 7600.  Cant put my finger on it, but lile 2004 better.
       Thanks  again
