I've never had any problems with any of my Piston Prop, General Aviation aircraft, performing a "Push Back" using Shift + P, followed by "1" or "2" to turn in the required direction....

Paul,

What the heck are you doing a "pushback" in a 172 for?

We Piston Prop '172 Fliers just require the assistance of the Avgas Man to push on our Prop Spinner to perform a "Push Back"....

Not a bleedin' great Massey-Fergusson Tractor, like you "Passenger Jet Types"...
...(the ones with the big wings with round things hanging under them!)... :o...!

LOL... ;D...!

Paul....What's a 747?... :-?..... ;)...!

Its something that can make your c172 go squishy and say "oops!" and get away with it ;D.

The ATC can be talking, but you need to have the ATC window closed.

Not in my FS9 it don't!  Even with the ATC window closed, if ATC are talking and I hit 1 or 2 to go left or right, I select either ATIS or tower.

Have you waited until ATC have stopped talking and closed the window using " ' " (Apostrophe) before pressing "1" or "2"... ;)...!

If you have your TRAFFIC set high, you may find it difficult to find a break in the ATC conversation!!
