The big chunky spot view look

How do I get rid of this? It is such a nuisance, if I try and analyse a landing I can't even see the plane. This is a max out zoom on spot view of a 747-400. It is plane type orientated, like on the 747-400. Examples shown below:

In spot view Hit ALT/Views/View Options and alter the distance from the aircraft to a larger value say 300ft. That should solve the problem.

Reminds me of that idiotic side view they gave us in FS10. Useless. Useless...
