help with downloading real world weather

Hi im having a  bit of a problem when im downloading real world weather, whats happening is that it says downloading weather from jeppesen you see the bar go up, then when its downloaded, normaly another box appears saying loading weather, but instead my screen goes black for a second then goes back to my desktop and i have to reload fs2004 again, i did have this problem only a week ago, but it reseolved itself, i thought maybe the jepesen site was having problems but this has ben like it now for almost 24 hours, the other thing is that when i clicked on the news in fs2004, it says im not connected to the internet, when i know full well that i am.
I have been downloading lots of new planes lately so maybe one of them was a bit dodgy and has messed up the flight sim, i hope thats not the case

There have been several similar posts over the last few days. I suspect the Real Weather site is having problems.

sure is, at last!!! im glad it wasnt just me that it affected i thought my flight sim was messed up! hope it doesnt happen to often, its happened twice now to me in about a week!

I'm no expert, but they might have had to tweak it because of FSX using the same site?
Hope it is really fixed though
