West Coast ANG

Does anyone have a fix for the F-15 in FS9 2004 scenery files. In ANG files page 74 in scenery section there is an F-15 from ANG. It is super looking. It looks exactly like the jets that fly here. I see them every day as they fly right over my house. The problem with that is it does not taxi very well. it has very little takeoff power. it will rotate about 3/4 of the way down the runway. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix these problems.

Chances are you downloaded an AI pack by accident. Those aren't really meant to be flown by people, but rather by the world of FS9.

If I were you, I'd go and download the Coral F-15, or if you don't mind buying flight sim products, the Iris Simulations F-15

I did download the coral pak and its super. Can you transfer textures without messing it up. I did and had to reinstall the AI plane again.    Thanks

If you have a plane (F15 or whatever) that flies well but has not the texture of another you like but that flies like a hammer, you can switch the dynamic files.

In the object (the one that flies bad and you want to make fly good) plane's aircraft.cfg take the contact points. effects and fltsim section(s) and swap them in the donor plane's aircraft.cfg in the stead of this one's original ones. Be very attentive to the Sim= field under the Fltsim tag(s), it has to have the .air file's name (without the .air part) as it is written (I've found on my skin that it's case sensitive).

It's more difficult to write down that to do it. ::)
