Deleting the FS9.cfg file..

Postby f-16 » Wed May 09, 2007 2:34 pm

I would like to delete my FS9.cfg file and have FS re-build it. I currently have two files: FS9.cfg that is listed as a CFG file, and a FS9.cfg that is listed as a TEXT file. Would having two files give me problems? Should I have only one? Which one?

Also, what settings will I lose when the file is re-created? I know I will lose my start-up flight. But what else?

Scott.

Hi Scott. The file you need is named fs9.CFG. (The file named fs9.CFG.txt in the same location appears to be a backup.) IIRC deleting fs9.CFG will return everything to the default settings. Not sure if this affects the display settings but you will lose any tweaks you've added. You could always back it up for reference by moving it to a different location instead of deleting it.
