The replacement Alpha Channel Bitmap download...

  Hi simmers...
  Can anyone out there save me endless hours of dredging through the millions of file downloads on Simviation and steer me to the correct category and page number for the replacement 'Alpha Channel Bitmap'... I think I have asked for that correctly... I'll just describe what it does: It improves the reflections on the shiny surfaces of the aircraft.

  I'd be very grateful for any help...

The FS file it replaces is 'envmap.bmp'. A Simv search for envmap turns up a couple.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

That's the very one, I've just downloaded it...
Dave... your a legend... you've saved me a lot of time looking for that zipper... I suspected, too, that I had asked for the wrong thing...  :P
