Of course is "better" (among quotes), as if you come too low the probability to bump on something on the ground is higher, and bumping on something
hurts.

Of course, to everything a line must be drawn. If you are too high on the glideslope, you'll never land. So, a bit high is better than a bit low, but too high means a go around, and that's alright only as long you have fuel.
