Help deleted default aircraft for startup

Postby flyingbartdude. » Wed Feb 28, 2007 2:44 pm

Hi Guys can anyone help ive accidently deleted my aircraft from which I used to start with in FS9 this causes an error on start up saying obviously the aircraft cannot be found. I cannot restore as I have done rather a lot of changes to my system is it possible to delete this default flight and use another aircraft. Ive looked in flights but it isnt in there.
Any help would be much appreciated
cheers flyingbartdude ;)

In your 'fs9.cfg' delete the line 'SITUATION=......'

[USERINTERFACE]
MAP_ORIENTATION=0
PAUSE_ON_LOST_FOCUS=0
PROMPT_ON_EXIT=1
PageID=4
OpenATCOnCreate=0
SITUATION=C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Flight Simulator Files\c172 at 3cu

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Providing you still have the default Cessna 172 try deleting FS9.cfg. That should return everything to the default settings.
