PMDG 747 question

Postby visualchaosfx » Fri Feb 02, 2007 8:36 pm

Ok I bought and downloaded the PMDG 747 which is really really cool. eh anyways, I'm on the runway getting ready to take off and as I'm moving some alarm goes off and a "config flaps" is displayed. What does that mean?

It means you did not put enough flaps down or you put too much down. I usually use 10 degrees.

I don't have PMDG, but on my other jumbos I always use 10 degrees (like every pilot does).

Yep that fixed that problem. I set the flaps at 20. I go down the runway and I don't have to pull the nose up. Its pretty cool.
