How dark is Night?

Ok didnt know how else to word it lol, But it seems to dark for some reason, Is this normal?

After I installed flight enviroment it just seems alot darker than before I cant see a dang thing. lol

When it is night here at my place, i too can't see a dang thing. I allways have a light with me.
Try to turn some lights on.

If your point is that a ramp area should be better-lit, I'd agree... if so, that's just the limitations of the sim's default scenery.
If anything, the night environment in general is too bright in FS, in my opinion... it always looks like the full moon is out, even when it isn't.

I think the general night environment isnt too bad, its when your near a city or on the ground that its too dark.  I have GE so my night ground textures look good, but theres no lighting on the plane so it doesn't seem to be lit up like it should.  Same thing for on the ground at night, the ground looks okay (especially with like flytampa sceneries) but the plane and the air is just too dark.

i just turn all the lights in my room off that helps alot. if the lights in the room are on you cant see well thats why cockpit lights are low or red
