HELP terrain texture error!

how do I fix this:
it is really annoying and is ruining the angle I want to do for the screenshot contest (this one is not it)

Go back to the default Detail1.bmp.  If youve installed any new ground detail texture (I DO NOT mean ground textures) then thats the problem.  A lot of the detail1.bmp files out there are lighter than the default which doesnt blend.

no I haven't changed that, could you send me your's, maybe that would fix it.

for those of you still paying attention, I finally got around to installing fs9 on my laptop so that I could have a second install to salvage files like this from, and I was able to transfer the file, so now it works! yay!
