Could use a bit of help changing some files...

Hey guys, I was looking for an F-15C payware model, and Lilley suggested I take the dynamics and sound of my F-15E from IRIS and put it on the Coral model I have... How would I go about doing this? I'd have no clue where to start on my own  ::)

"Lilley suggested I take the dynamics and sound"
. . . and then he hung you out to dry . . .  ???

Rule #1
Backup all relevant folders to a safe place

Then add the model and texture wanted to the aircraft folder containing the requisite panel; e.g.,

[fltsim.#]
title=My Not-so-good-Aircraft
sim=Not-so-good-Aircraft
model=The model I added
panel=
sound=and sound if you like
texture=The texture I added
checklists=

Added Folder naming convention:
model.The model I added
texture.The texture I added
sound.and sound if you like

If everything is backed-up it's just a matter of dicking around until the required result is achieved. If it isn't what is wanted, simply replace with the backed-up folders.

What can be accomplished in FS9 by using this and similar combinations is limited only by one's imagination
