Piper PA31P-350 Aircraft

Postby supernova45849850l » Sun Oct 29, 2006 5:34 am

Hi All
I downloaded the plane in my desperation to find a good cheap prop that will carry more than 6 people for my FsPassengers.

Anyway,
It seems that there is a problem with the plane when you are leaning the mixture. With all props on FS9, when you lean, you bring the mixture up to the point where the fuel flow stops and then bring it back slightly (also where the EGT at hottest). With the Piper it seems that the fuel flow always goes off off the scale for some reason, although it does use the same gauge as the Baron 58. I will just use another plane no big deal just wondered if anyone else noticed this difference??

I got ambitious and have been working on it..

Got the bitmap done (tops out at 35gph now).. but I'm struggling with the XML syntax..

I'll get it eventually  ;)

OK.. I've got an update..

It modifies the panel.cfg, adds a new fuel-flow gauge and modifies the fuel-flow accordingly..

PM me if you still need it..
