Eg "G-BIZR Land / take of at your discretion!"
Try landing or taking off at headcorne in Kent with free fall parachutists just missing your wing!!!!!!!!!
Now that would be a good upgrade for FSX!!!

When I close the APP button , the airplane was still????

It depends whether your a/c is equiped with autoland!  If so leave everything on until touchdown otherwise drop the AP at about 100ft and fly the flare yourself.

Of course there are a lot of schools about the last part of the land. What I did with a default plane or a add-on with the same landing systems as a default was to, once on the runway proximity, to press the "Z" key to disconnect the autopilot, then immediately press the "A" key (that I associated in FS with the activation/offing of the autothrottle), then press "F1" to zero the engines' thrust.

And then I let the ground effect do the flare for me.

In absence of this commodity (some planes have no ground effect wired in their flight dynamics), I pulled slightly the joystick toward me, flaring the beast myself for a softer landing.

General Aviation Aircraft:

...as I mentioned before, I generally always switch the Auto Pilot off on the approach to the runway when everything is lined up nicely....
...then...
I always need to manually re-trim the elevator slightly nose-up, indicator just below the centre line, (The same setting as required for take-off), to allow a gentle flair prior to touch-down using small power adjustments, and keeping a wary eye on the airspeed gauge all the time!.......!

After switching the AP off, the elevator trim is often wildly out of calibration and control can easily be lost.....  :o... ... ...!

For a reasonably complex and stable aircraft to practice on, I find the default, general aviation, Beech Baron 58 an excellent aircraft with its nice Bendix-King radio stack......!

.."uncontrolled airstrips" include the farmer's field at the bottom of my garden....LOL... ...!
