Postby FsNovice » Fri Mar 10, 2006 10:45 am

I searched for Kiev Airport on Fs2004 and couldn't find it. Could, if it exists, post a link to a download as i'm on my way to it now and i cna't find it on the airport list.
Ps I know it is a real airport.

Check the (country)Ukraine-(city)Kyiv-3 airports listed.

Apparently that is the official spelling http://www.uazone.net/Kiev_Kyiv.html

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

That's strange. I have found the three airports. Does it matter which one i land at.

YES!!  You MUST land at the one YOU think is the best!!  Otherwise you will be shot upon leaving your aircraft and hung at the end of the runway as an example to all the other pilots landing at inferior airports!!!

But seriously, what do you mean by "Does it matter . . ."?  Why would it matter to us?  Pick an airport, fly to it and check it out.  If you don't like it, take a quick hop to one of the other two.

Or am I missing something obvious here?

Depends on where you have the most traffic

Gostomel is deserted unless you have Antonov Factory traffic flying around.
Zhulyany is mainly used for maitnance stops... although there is the odd airline flying from there

Boryspol is the largest one, and considered the main international airport of Kyiv. If you are lucky and have a bunch of exotic traffic you can find the odd Tu-154 from Iran parked there
