Engine Heat problem

Postby Fox_Molder » Fri Jan 27, 2006 4:27 am

I am tring to fixe an airplane with proper trust from its engine. now i got it just the way it is in real life (modification done in aircraft.cfg)

but now i have an engine heat problem. the engine over at 80% power where it should be running in the green.

any one know how to fixe this?
it is and air cooled engine. it should not over unless pushed at 100% in very hot summer. it is a rotax engine and the rotax rep as told all of the people that the engine will run fine at max rpm. it does in real life

thanks

MS heat modelling is crap

Opened the cowl flaps? If the FDE has them it should give some relief

Oh, and most of the technical stuff in in the .air file and not in the cfg

The yak-18 you can get at avsim has the same problem... they are still trying to fix it
