Carrier ops full pack

Postby thebrelon » Wed Jan 18, 2006 5:25 am

I would like to now if there is any way to start a flight from the carrier of the pack available here?
I didn't find any airport code in the documents, and in FS when you select an airport in new zealand it doesn't appear, even if I can find the carrier by flying to it...
any idea?

thanks

I dont have the scenery, but.....

Did you try the 'Search Addon Scenery' option from the 'Go To Airport' window?

Search for or create an Afcad file for the carrier.

Slew or fly to the the carrier deck and then save the flight.

You can also start your flight in any aircraft that fits in the carrier hangar. Problem comes when you try to get on to the flight deck as the spot view will show lots of F18 action. I cheated and went to Map view and used my CF18. In map view change the height and speed to a flyable alt/speed. You will then find yourself directly over the carrier. There's an orbiting CAP you can intercept and formate on and then attempt a landing.
