crash to desktop when changing planes solved

Postby loomex » Wed Jan 11, 2006 10:28 pm

I found out the reaon why it was crashing when I switched planes. It was the last two drivers I got for my vid card! The latest driver for my NVidia Gforce4 MX 4000
(81.98_forceware) seems to have solved it!

Do you remember which drivers they were so that we can NOT outdate the vid card?

The suspected drivers are the three drivers proir to 81.98_forceware
I update the drivers everytime there is a new one.

If you read the the directions for installing the driver, it states this:

Before installing new drivers make sure you uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers from the Windows Control Panel. Browse to the Start Menu > Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and search for "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove.
