Help -- FS2004 Won't Start

Postby houndog528 » Tue Jan 10, 2006 3:29 pm

I am a new member here, and trying out this message system for the first time, so please bear with me if I don't do this the right way.

Here is my problem:  I cannot start FS2004.  The start-up screen pops up, and then the game stops responding.  How do I fix this?  I have had FS2004 ever since it came out, and never had a major problem, until now.  I haven't been able to play since Saturday, and am having withdrawal symptoms.  Please help!!

Try deleting the fs9.cfg file and starting again. FS will re-write this file for you.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
