how come my After Burner effects look so blotchy like this F-16's?

There are many AB effects out there. Some are superb, some look like they where drawn in crayon. Take you pic.

all my aircrafts that have AB are like that now and a few regular effects like touch down smoke just a few days ago before i put CFS3 on my comp they were normal looking but that F-16 and F-14 i have an F-18 ill have to get the makes gimme a few

Make sure that your special effects are on high, and that you're running in 32 bit color mode.

yeh thats what i did wrong i had it on 16 bit lol 32 and it looks nice now everything does
