Flight plans in AC Tags

Postby FLAPS_DOWN » Tue Dec 27, 2005 5:35 pm

I have seen in one screenshot an AC tag with the flight plan i.e. KJFK - KORD, in it.  How do you do that?  I don't see a place to select that in the ATC settings. ???

Two options:

Download the FS2004 'Traffic Toolbox SDK'. One of the tools available in the sim is the setting of the additional tags. Also the 'Explorer' tool is kinda neat for viewing/controlling AI aircraft. http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimulator/fs2004_downloads_sdk.asp#traffic

or-

In the FS9.cfg file locate the [AContain] section and modify the items.
........
[AContain]

ShowUserLabel=0
ShowLabelManufacturer=0
ShowLabelModel=1
ShowLabelTailNumber=0
ShowLabelDistance=1

ShowLabelAirlineAndFlightNumber=0
ShowLabelFlightPlan=0
ShowLabelContainerId=0
ShowLabelAirspeed=1
ShowLabelHeading=0
LabelDelay=1000
LabelColor=FFFF0000
.....

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
