Wide Screen Mode

I had not used wide screen mode in sometime, but because I wanted to take screen shots, I switched to wide screen last night. The instrments appear distorded, sort of oblong! In reg mode they are fine.
My screen resolution is set at 1280x768x32.
Any ideas?

You're stuck with the oblong stuff, buddy. I know because I play with 1280x800 and FS doesn't have a 16:9/16:10 ratio option.

wouldn't it be better to just REDUCE the resolution?

I was trying to find a way to fix it without haveing  reduce the resolution, but that may be the only solution.
I know when I flew FS2002 I never had that problem.
