F1 View question

Postby Staiduk » Sun Nov 27, 2005 5:03 pm

'Lo!

Finally got around to putting in F1 View and I like it. One question - is there any way to speed up the movement? I use it to move about the cabin; but the distance covered per mouse wheel movement is so slow it's hardly worth it sometimes. Is it possible to speed it up some?

Thanx!

Did your mouse come with any extra software? You can usually speed up the scrolling with that.

Nyet - I can change scroll speed right enough; but not in FS9 itself. Rats.
Normally it wouldn't be a real problem; after all planes are only so big but there are a few models out there where it makes a big diff. I've got this teriffic missile cruiser I'm taking from San francisco Bay to Vancouver right now (@ an average of 40 kts - now THERE'S a long trip! ;D ) with which all areas of the deck from bow to stern are available. Takes forever to get around the deck! :)

I know what you mean. I have F1 view also and I've always wanted a way to speed up the scroll. The worst case scenario is the Tu-114.  It's a Russian airliner witha cabin about a mile long. Scrolling all the way to the tail is a real workout. Man it goes on forever.

Let us know if you find a way.

My mouse software has an application controlled option, did you check for that?
