FS9 won't start up...

Postby Tom_M » Mon Oct 31, 2005 1:32 pm

My FS9 has suddenly started Not Responding beyond the splash screen. This happened after I deleted the FSUIPC stuff from Modules as FS9 suddenly started complaining about duplicate FSUIPC modules installed at startup, and then it stopped responding.

I heard deleting my FS9.cfg or something can stop many problems? Thing is, I can't find it... Where is it?

Cheers,
Tom

EDIT: Nevermind, it just started working again for some strange reason... lol

Since it differs with the windows you have just do a search for it BUT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE SHOW HIDDEN FILES SELECTED OR YOU WILL NOT SEE IT.
If you read the second sticky note it will have a topic that tells you exactly where to look for it.
I think in windows Xp it is in MYDOCUMENTS/APPLICATIONDATA/MICROSOFT/FS9.cfg
or something like that 8)

it did work right? just looking for a little feedback.

that works for most cases. now if you get a error about scenery, you should re-install it, and make sure it's FS9 compatible.

:P I didn't touch the cfg, but I realised the reason was that FS didn't close properly so was bringing up multiple copy errors.
