Question about my setings

Ok i got this problem and as far as i could see there was no help in the faq.  I set the settings to Detail: land and water  i hit ok and nothing has chaged. I go back in and its back to Detail : land only.  This is also hapining to water detail when i set it seperatly.  I have downloaded new water textures and would like to see them

What kind of video card do you have? This has an effect on that slider.

A few high end video cards allow both of them to be set to max while most of them only allow land only detail to be shown and the water detail to be max.

This is what it should be if you want to see the water texture, set the water detail to max and leave the land only detail on.

Typically when the video card "resets" the setting in the sim........ it does not support that feature.
