im thinking that might be Lukla, Nepal (VNKL) ?

hard to tell from a photograph...

I forget the name, but it looks like the one that's at the base of Mount Everest.  Is that Lukla? (I think it is)

i enjoy long walks on the beach, yummie thai food, and obliterating my enemy's aircraft around them with a hail of bullets from 12 .50s. and/or a 75mm cannon.

Nope, that's what I got when I tried it out, but I downloaded an FS2002 scenery from AVSIM which seems to work fine.

This is Lukla Airport also a very  hard airport to try and land at in fs9 as you have a huge cliff face at the other end of the runway! ! ! ! ! !
We flew to this destination on one of our multiplayer flights in Cessna 337's, and is a real pain to land at.....

Yup, I was on that flight...... NO option for a go around.

That's a horrible,Imagine if you have problem right after b1,Option Take of or Take of,or byyyyyyeeeeeee, ;D or if the brakes doesn't work to good right after landing ;D

So thats what that little grass strip is supposed to look like!
I just about managed to get a fully loaded 747 off there. You've just got to nose down and eventually you get enough speed.
