Anyone know why the 3D preview won't display correctly other than a black box?

After a fresh install, this is how it still shows.  Anyone have any clues??
:(  Thanks in advance for any help that would allow me to resolve this...:(
My system specs are below, with FS9 settings on full.

Revert to older graphics card drivers. I had the same with my old Geforce3 Ti. It's a fallacy that you should kep updating to the latest drivers when new versions come out. Usually the new versions only contain drivers for cards that have come out since your one and have nothing to offer older cards.

In fact I recently did  a test with my current card. I benchmarked the drivers that came with the card and the latest ones from the nVidia site. The newer drivers benchmarked SLOWER than the older ones - not surprising really as the new ones contain loads of junk that is irrelevant for the older card.

Of your 'old' drivers are working OK stick with em. Unfortunately you won't usually get better preformance by changing to newer ones. As I (and now you) have found, mostly you'll get worse performance.

That is unless of course the new drivers are specifically for your card, as in they are intended to fix something. That doesn't happen to often though.

I have the same GFX as you, and when I move the Anti Aliasing slider over 4x, it disappears... Pretty weird.. ::)
