FS 2004 addons

Postby cableguy » Tue Oct 04, 2005 3:57 pm

Even though i have been on the forums for a long time i dont exactly know where to post this kind of question.  I have just bought the new video card Radeon X850XT Platinum Edition, so i can finally maximize all the settings in FS without loosing any FPS. Now the question part, could you guys recomment the best FREE water textures, sky textures, and ground textures for FS9 so i could get the most out of it with my hardware?  Or any other addons that make it look better.  The reason i am looking for free stuff is that i an not such a hardcore simmer as most of you are, but if you can recomment something thats good and costs money, i have no problem with buying it, but i would still prefer to get something good for free.  Ok thank you for your attention.  waiting for replies.

Just like Souichiro, I absolutely recommend FS Skyworld 2004. This will allow you to choose new clouds, sky colors for day, dawn and dusk, lens flares and night lighting.

For the water, I don't remember the exact name of the package, but I remember the filename -> look for morewatr.zip.

For the ground textures, I personnally use a mixture of  "Lennart's textures" and "Alaska terrain textures", in a barbarian-style manual install. Gave quite a good result on my machine.
