Dash8 panel problem

I've have a Dash8 Q-400 panel and everytime I open another window (GPS, overhead, etc) in the main window, the engines shut off and I have to restart them everytime.

Is there anyway to correct that??

Please help, this is aggrevating

Well, I ended up solving my own problem. I remodified the panel where the engines don't shut down everytime I open up a window or hit a switch. Added some extras to the panel, too.  ;D

Is there any way to correct the altitude and heading setting?? The altitude has increments of 1000 and the heading has increments of 10. Is there anyway to get rid of that?
