My Invisible Piper PA28-140...!

Postby Fozzer » Fri Aug 19, 2005 5:01 am

Hello all...!

Is it just me, or does anyone else have problems with getting the new Piper PA28-140 to show up in the hangar...?

http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props77.htm

I've un-zipped it, as you do, and popped the "PA28140E" folder into my Main Aircraft folder, as you do...
but it doesn't show up in the "Any" aircraft list, which it should... ;)...!
I don't normally have probs in installing aircraft...but this one beats me...:'(...!
LOL...!
I remember, at one time, there was a limit on the number of aircraft allowed in the FS 2004 Hangar, and I dont know if this still applies... ::)...?

Cheers all...!

Paul.....(Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Pepper..etc...).. ;D...!

I assure you that your hangar can't be full...I hope. As for your installation, this is weird. Let me get the plane and try to install it...Good old FS2002 didn't show FS2004 models...could it be something related to that?
Cheers Paul,
Ashar :)

It's your eyes, Paul.  Too many bugs from riding without a faceplate on your helmet...  ;D

Aircraft.cfg problem....[fltsim.0] has references to nonexistant model, texture, etc.

Delete [fltsim.0] section and rename [fltsim.1] to .0

Dave
At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Might have to send this one back to the shop, unless there's a patch.

Missing spats, bad cog, and quite dodgey in flight, to my taste  :'(

Decent visual model but could have used a few more days in testing before certification.  ;)

Talk to Rollerball, he posted something about how to fix this plane a while ago. I was going to try it, but my computer became a doorstop for about a week and I never got around to it.

Thanks for posting it Foz, I had the same problem but I was too ashamed to admit I couldn't make it work.      Tried everything but the suggested correction which I'm now off to try.....
