Help  w/airport extension

Postby Robert_Bance » Wed Aug 17, 2005 10:42 pm

Thanks to a satellite view from Google earth, I found out  one airporrt (MTCH) has been really extended in lenght. Using Acad 2.21, I was able to add the extra 4000 ft, etc.. Now, I have a couple of trees and bushes in this portion of the runway, and other trees , just at touch down. These trees, are of course, part of the orginal scenery at this airport.  I am open to all suggestions that will help clear this vegetation.. I wonder if GMax will help.  Never used it.
Thanks

Get the program called Exclude Builder V2 (excbuilderv2.zip at avsim).

With it you can build an exclude file (a .bgl file) that will remove the autogen scenery from the area you define.

You may also want to get the tutorial (excbld_tutorial.zip).

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
