Whats your windows resolution set to? From the look of it your windows is set to 1024 and the game is set to 800.

Set your game to 1024X768X32 (if its currently set to 800X600)
Why yes, I am a noobie/newbie/knewbie

Ok-

A) Is the screen like that when you're actually flying?

B) In that shot, what resolution is the game set to and what resolution is the actual computer screen set to?

When you have the game set to 1024x768, that's supposed to happen, except usually it's a black background, not the desktop.

No the screen is full when im flying (full screen) and the main menu is full screen aswell.
The games resolution is 800 x 600 x 32.

The card/monitor is set to  1024 x 768.

Cheers

hmm... sorry, that didn't look like an alt+enter screen to me, usually I would've said it just in case (the one time I don't) ::)

The simple things indeed. I once asked for help because I couldn't get a plane to start. Turns out I wasn't holding the button long enough.
