wel i just joined vatsim.. and im am very very very confused at the Pilot Resource Center.. I need help creating an account. I clicking JOIN NOW first.. made the account.. got the confirm email.. but i don't know what to do.. help me hah

1) Download squawk box

2) Open FS and start out at a airport in a parking spot

3) Open squawk box and hit to top left button and connect makiing sure to choose the region that your currently parked in (southeast US, west US, etc) and select from a list what plane your flying (list may not be exact but usually close.)

4) It will put you online and show you the ATC for your region.

5) Tune your radio to the proper ATC freq displayed and then talk or text your requests

Its a good idea to go to vatsim.net and click on virtual display. This will show you what areas are crowded and popular at the moment. Vatsim is boring if you start out at a airport where no one is playing...it'll be a ghost town with just you there with no one to talk to  :)
