Another total newbie question - flight controls

Heres  a simple one -  - wheres the reference page for my ad on planes - or is it just trial and error

as I traverse the globe in my hornet -  in search of good water spots to practice husky landings - I come across magic islands but don

The airstrip names relate to the country eg. EGLL is London Heathrow so all the airfields in the uk start with an E. Meanwhile in America they start with a K i think e.g. KSFO so if you know what the first letter of that airfields code is then you should be able to find out which country it belongs to.

Feel free to correct me if im wrong though.

Rather a big question - could be the Philippines, or Indonesia, or Papua New Guinea

Best solution is probably an atlas or a world map from the bookshop.

well it depends what conuntry 'the strip of islands' belong to! if u can find that out then we can help getting the airports for them:)

In-flight: Go to your GPS screen, hit the big arrow on the out ring thats point right, hit enter, then the small right arrow, and type in the airport name.

Cheating(:P)-find out the ICAO o fthe airport (eg. EGLL) and type it into the 'World-Go to airport' menu.

Using the first letter to tell you where it is is generally unreliable-there's much more than 26 countries, so they have to reuse letters often

From your flight screen, hit ctrl+s, to get to overhead view. Zoom outas far as necessary and compare the image to your world map or atlas. Ctrl+s again to exit overhead view.  

As for the reference page(s), not all add-on a/c come with them.  You may find some for download for the a/c or you can create your own. They can be html or text files. You would then have to make/modify 2 entries in the aircraft.cfg file.
