a total newbie question

Re -  add ons to enhance this incredible experience of flight - havent slept for a month

someone suggested the f 18 hornet  - shes a beaut but does the program limit her to 600 kts or is there another button to get to mach 1.8  ;D

Are we talking about team FS-KBT's F/A 18E superhornet or another one? because in that case there is a patch on Avsim

There is no button for that [I wish there was]. You have to edit the aircraft.cfg file [open it with notepad] and increase the max speed limit. But before you do that, you have to have a clear understanding of the *.cfg format.

But if the simulator limits it to 600 knots, then that's the fastest it can go [I think].

KBT's Superhornet is great, but at times it goes insane! I mean, insanely fast, no speed limit!  :o

Probably something screwed up with my ac.cfg.

I have taken my Viggen to over 3000KIAS...dunno if that's the limit ::) :P

This blackbird is hitting mach 2.7. Look at the KIAS at the top.

fastest i went was with a modded cfg file was 8527knots
