Why don't you like FRAPS? It's perfect for making videos... ::)

I find that FRAPS SLOOOOOOWS everything down too much, even when I record at 1/2 speed, then double the speed in editing, it still seems choppy, and I'm running 2.8G P4 with 128 G-Force 3 and a gig of RAM.
If I could find something else to capture the video from FS with, I would.
But I wonder if it's not FRAPS that's causing the choppyness but FS itself, I really haven't seen any documentation on recording speeds ie. 1/4 sec,1/2 sec, 1 sec.
I wonder what the difference between these are.
I know my 'puter can handle just about anything I can throw at it.

I understand. I knew a family who once went to Disneyland and did not like it. :-) AFAIK,  registered FRAPS version is recommended
