Shutting off the engines

Postby tennm1980 » Sun Jul 24, 2005 7:49 pm

ok...i have figured out how to shut off the cessna engines in the game after landing and parking. are the jets and other aircraft "unstoppable"? i try to kill all power to the jet engines, but they snap right back to the "on" position. any ideas? or is my old ass computer screwing me here?

tenm1980,

Look for the "fuel cutoff" switches for the engines.  They control valves that supply fuel to the engines.  Pull the throttles to idle and then shut off the fuel.  Usually they are on the throtle quadrant...but sometimes elsewhere.

That ought to get them  ;).

best,

Or you could assign a key or joystick button to "Mixture idle cutoff" in Settings ---> Assignments. Shuts off all engines after your flight.

Good luck,

Crash ;)
