Interesting input Pegase, because I too strongly dislike interruptions to my game.  I hadn't thought that AC might be a little too "active" ( ;)) for me.  I'm about to download the demo, so I'll post back.

THE tool for people wishing to create good screens is an artist's eye and some creativity.

Off course, Hype, the best more sophisticated tool is useless in the hand of someone who has not a previous  idea what  to do with it...

But the greatest inspiration need a tool to communicate the result to the others. Could be F1 View or ... A Steinway, paintbrush and canvas or... an aircraft : Most of the pilots you can see in airshows  are true artists
:D

On our case let's keep simple and realistic. Our creativity and artist's eye get a STRONG support from the creativity and know how of load off people like aircraft conceptors and builders, software engeeners, individuals making the models and give us the result often for free...

The developpers  of F1 View and Active Cam are ammong them.

My preference goes today for F1 because it give me a very simple way to do what I want. But I admit that Active Cam is more powerfull in the hand of someone who make the effort to learn it (and off course has an image in mind...)

If you are found of computer art, have a visit by there:

In a completely different style, I proudly claim my 18th rank in the contest shown at

Ow yeah for those who use it...Try it ut on kirk Olson's F-16D the entire plane is modelled in the VC mode so you can go outside and get a fixed viewpoint! Just try it out!
