Default flight

Hi guys,

A week ago I deleted the FS9.cfg because I thought it might help me solving a small problem I had. It did solve the problem but now a bigger one occurred. I can't change the default flight anymore. I had the default flight set to start with a "cold" DC-3 (engines and lights off, door open). Now all it does is return to the default flight that came with FS9 (the cessna in Seattle). Any ideas how to overcome this problem?

Try saving the flight as the default flight. Exit the flight, choose the flight from the 'select a flight' window and check the  'make this the default flight' box before flying.

....mmm.....Hi Sir C.....This works for me every time......

1. Set up the flight you want..........
2. Click Save Flight button and give it a name...
3.Check the Make Default box....
4. Click Fly now.......then make any other changes to the game such as shut down the engine to cold.open doors etc...(Not too sure about the Open Doors bit)
5. Click Flights/Save Flight..and select the file name you just gave it..and check the Make Default again....
6. You will be asked to overwrite that flight...YES.

.....It is the only way I know to be sure of getting what I want as the default flight....a bit messy but it works for me 100%.....commoner.

I tried all of the above but no succes. It's like the default flight is reset when I close FS9. I found a solution that is kind of radical. I replaced the Fltsim file in Microsoft Games/Flights/other with my own flight, thus deleting the "standard" default flight. Everything working again the way I like it now.
